Presented by eleven collective in collaboration with NEIA, UNSW, Fairfield City Museum and Gallery and Peacock Gallery, Auburn, is part of the ANXIETY 2017 (Sydney, September – November, 2017), We Are All Affected exhibitions, performances and talks feature the work of Australia based Muslim artists and provides an insight into what is fast becoming a culturally specific form of anxiety; one which is related to the current socio-political climate, Islamophobia and the unique social, emotional, political and intellectual pressures that exist as a result. Governance brings ten contemporary artists together to respond to the role of governance today at Old Government House, Parramatta. Curated by Lizzy Marshall, the exhibition features newly created alongside established pieces from the invited artists’ practice.
